Looking down at Plaza Real from the Kabul Hostel, located right off La Ramblas. And lucky
to be alive, after our plane nearly crashed! We paid one cent (i.e. centime) for a round-trip
ticket from Frankfurt to Girona (plus 10 euros in taxes!), but I'm not sure I will ever fly Ryan
Air again...

Luke and I dressed for winter; it's December, but we would be wearing shorts soon after.

Pitou et moi. Half-Spanish and half-German, and fluid in both (as well as French and English),
Peter unfortunately couldn't understand a word of Catalan!

Antoni Gaudi's still uncompleted La Sagrada Familia.

Unfortunately, that's it. Luke's camera's battery ran out after the second day, and he
forgot to bring the charger. 2 weeks' adventures seeing amazing sights and works of art &
architecture, with hardly any pictures to show for it... :-(
